Went here after astra lumina. Great food! We had a late reservation (815p) and the waiter was not happy that we were there before their closing (830), but not sure why reservations are accepted up until 830. Food was delicious - great flavorful fajitas (chicken) and the taco dorado was amazing. Nothing was greasy tasting and it was all fresh! I love the interior - it's very reminiscent of Buca di Beppo. I'll come back!

Soft furnishings, intimate, wait staff, comfy booths, everything I want in a restaurant. Oh and did I say excellent food? So tired of the order at the counter or warehouse, minimalist decor, like dining in a garage. This is a real treat. You can enjoy a leisurly lunch, great marguerita, and food that is out of this world. Chips and salsa are the bomb.

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch here! This is a huge restaurant with plenty of indoor seating as well as easy parking. Great variety on their menu, I love their crispy tacos. Nice variety of sides available as well, the veggies were great as was the beans and rice.they have nice salads and a variety of appetizers and drinks available as well. Service was friendly and fast and I absolutely loved their chips and salsa. It had such a unique flavor to it, crave worthy!

The service was unbelievable. Our server, (didn't catch his name) was great. Helped me and my family with their orders. Got us our chips and salsa right away, along with our refills for our drinks. Top tier service. Our food came out immediately and we were very pleased. My grandmother also had a problem with her dish, and he was on top of his stuff and immediately got her a new dish, which was awesome. The food was great, we got the combination plates which came with a few sides, they have plenty to choose from, from rice and beans, to fruits and vegetables. And for choices of meat (if you eat meat) they have chicken, beef, carnitas, shrimp and seafood. Also if you don't eat meat they have an option of cheese as well! The restaurant has great decor, all of vintage photos of celebrities, to signs, from the 50's and a little later. Clean and very neat stuff. This is our second time being here, and can say we will be back for a third!

The Original Red Onion opened its doors at this location in 1963, and we have been loyal patrons for years. The food and service have always been consistently good. Today, we stopped by for a late lunch and were seated immediately. They welcomed us with warm chips and salsa, and I requested their spicy habanero salsa--absolutely delicious! We ordered the Red Onion Salad, which features mixed greens, jicama, avocado, tangerines, cucumber, fresh berries, candied pecans, and goat cheese, all topped with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The salad was fantastic! We also enjoyed the grilled orange roughy fish taco on a flour tortilla and the carnitas tacos on a hard shell. Both tacos were generously sized, delicious, and satisfying. Once again, The Original Red Onion delivered an enjoyable dining experience!
